Gariful owner, Ivan Gospodnetic, organized The most creative logo contest. Elementary  school pupils were drawing their own invented logo for restaurant Gariful.

There was exhibition of 70 drawings where interested public could vote for the best logo, as well as on Restaurant Gariful facebook page.
A first place won Veronika Vasovic, pupil of 4th grade, as a creator of best logo. She won an iPad! Congratulations to Veronika!

Gariful owner, Ivan, wants to give thanks to all participants and is looking forward to work together again!

It is a well-known  that the world famous personalities dine at Gariful restaurant and now David Gray is one of them!

A British singer-songwriter sold 12 milion albums, and the album White Ladder (1998.) was the bestselling album ever in Ireland. Acheving numerous nominations and awards show us his greatness.

He was dining at Gariful place with his friends, enjoyed daily catched  fish and carefully selected wines.

Born in the capital Zagreb in 1970, Baijo has been fishing for Gariful’s guests for seven years and lives permanently on Hvar.

Prior to Gariful, he has worked as a fisherman and electrical engineer.

When not fishing for Gariful, his main hobby is… sports fishing.

Strelicija Gospodnetic is one of three sisters helping out boss Ivan with the running of Hvar’s most exclusive restaurant.

Born in Split in 1973, Strelicija helps out with restaurant procurement and decoration. She is single and  a committed Christian. She lives in the picturesque village of Zarace on the south coast, where she has built her own house.

One such visitor last year was young Bayern Munich star Xherdan Shaqiri who enjoyed a fish dinner at the restaurant.

He was on the score sheet again yesterday, scoring the winner in 1-0 victory over Freiburg.

Born in Split in 1947 and living full time in Hvar, Simun has been trawling the waters of the Adriatic for Gariful’s guests for 11 years, and has been a major contributor to some of the fine meals enjoyed by Gariful guests. Prior to his time at the restaurant, Simun worked for Dalmacija Cement and Skver Struka Rudarski Tehnicar.

A man who clearly loves his job, his hobbies are painting… and fishing.

Kajdi Abdulmar takes over the reins when boss Ivan Gospodnetic is away, and is also responsible for sourcing things that the restaurant needs. Born in 1968, she is a true right hand man to the Gariful management.

Kajdi was born in Split, but lives on Hvar. Married to Doro, she two children, Izidor and Zoa. She is a committed Christian.
