Gariful had an honour to host an extraordinary person from the world of sport, and from the world of media as well – Michael Strahan, a former American football player, and a great star of New York Giants from the American NFL.
At the recently finished Football World Cup, the national team of Croatia achieved a historical success. They surpassed the most successful generation of ‘98 for one step up and reached the very end of the road by winning the second place in the world.
There are plenty of people who show us their trust regularly, but the restaurant always attracts someone new with its charm, ambience and excellent food; and almost every day we have some celebrity here. This time it was a very well-known person from the world of sport, we may say a real star from the world’s most recognizable basketball league, the American NBA league.
It seemed that that night was going to be like any other in Gariful – full of regular guests and familiar faces who we always treat with full respect. However, we were honoured by the visit of a real Hollywood star, and an icon of the world’s film industry – an American actress, producer and a singer, Goldie Hawn.
