When meeting celebrities is part of your everyday routine, you start to look at these characters like normal people made of blood and skin, like they eventually are. But sometimes you surprise yourself when someone’s appearance takes so much attention to your personality. That happened to us yesterday evening when we were visited by Nina Badric, a Croatian pop singer and songwriter.
She began performing in the early 1990s and competed in “Dora” – the Croatian selection for Eurovision Song Contest 4 times. She won 7th place in 1993 with “Ostavljam te”, 10th place in 1994 with “Godine nestvarne”, 18th place in 1995 with “Odlaziš zauvijek”, and second place in 2003 with “Čarobno jutro”. Badrić eventually represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
She came to Gariful accompanied by her friends and her time there lifted the atmosphere on so many levels. Our Croatian diva, in every sense of it, makes us so proud we have someone with that charisma and personality in our team. Nina decided to eat fish and trust us, she wasn’t disappointed, au contrair – what the French would say. Thank you Nina for coming and come back to us soon and write one more page in our book of memory.
