Restaurant Gariful Closed for 2012, Thanks Friends, Colleagues and Guests

It has been another great summer of blue skies, fine dining, fresh fish and big yachts, and Restaurant Gariful would like to thank all its friends, colleagues and guests for their support in making 2012 the best season ever at Gariful. We greatly appreciate the loyal support of everyone, and will work hard to improve the standards even more in 2013.
2012 was a great year for Hvar. It started out as Lonely Planet’s number 5 destination in the world, and Hvar Town experienced another strong summer, as well as some very special moments. The ladies will not forget Tom Cruise walking round town, and the sight of the world’s largest private yacht was a reminder that Hvar is an exclusive and luxury destination.
It was a year of culture, with the highlight being the 400th anniversary of the oldest public theatre in Europe, as well as a year which saw some new initiatives, such as Peskafondo Gariful Hvar, a successful culinary festival in October which will become a regular part of the Hvar calendar.
Winter is now upon us, and Restaurant Gariful is now closed for the season. A time to relax and recharge the batteries before opening our doors for the 2013 season in March. A sincere and heartfelt thank you from the team at Gariful, and we look forward to seeing you again soon on Croatia’s premier island.
And we leave you with some memories of the restaurant, a collection of excellent photographs taken by Romulic and Stojcic.
